About the event
As many of you know, right now there is a humanitarian crisis occurring in India due to the pandemic. The stories and pictures have been absolutely heartbreaking. Sending positive thoughts is not enough. As yoga practitioners, we have India to thank for so much, the birthplace of a practice that has enriched our lives.
Join me for this special yoga and meditation class with all proceeds going towards a charitable organization working on the frontlines helping those most in need right now. This hour and 15-minute class will include an all-levels yoga class, followed by a special metta/lovingkindness meditation, sending whole-hearted benevolence to India and all sentient beings.
Let's take this opportunity to give back and show our gratitude. I’m not setting a suggested donation amount for this event. Instead, feel free to give what you financially are able to and give from the heart. Please leave the note “For India” in any donations sent. I’ll announce in next month’s newsletter and on Instagram @ekagra_yoga the result of what we together were able to raise for OxygenForIndia.org. There will be 2 fundraising classes – Thursdays 5/20 and 5/27 both @ 8 pm EST/NYC (Please check your timezone). Thank you for your generosity.
